Ruamahanga River at Wardells
This site is located at Wardells Bridge, about 4.5 km south of Masterton and about 600 metres upstream of the confluence with the Waingawa River. The site was established in 1954 and is the longest running river level recorder in the Wairarapa.

3684 litres per second effective for 11 Mar 2014
No water take restrictions in place
No restrictions when flow is over 2700 l/s
Partial restrictions come into effect when flow is between 2700 l/s and 2400 l/s
Full restrictions come into effect when flow is less than 2400 l/s
